Buliding Enterprise Mashups at Web 2.0 ExpoMichael Ogrinz, author of the book Mashup Patterns and Principal Architect at one of the world’s largest financial institutions and Olivier Poupeney, CoFounder and CEO of DreamFace Interactive presented a session called “Building Enterprise Mashups” at the Web 2.0 Expo in New York City.  The presentation detailed how to build Enterprise Mashups when faced with a real world problems.  Micheal and Olivier showed how to integrate existing data using a variety of mashup tools including DreamFace, to demonstrate solutions to problems commonly faced by enterprise IT departments.  The sample application  was based on a real business case application for tracking stock activity.  The presentation showed how – without the original developers or source code – corporations can perform tasks such as:

  • Fixing application bugs and adding new functionality
  • Mining public resources for competitive data
  • Redesigning a bad user interface
  • Making an application accessible from different devices

DreamFace Interactive was a sponsor at Web 2.0 NY on booth 1232 at the expo.
