What a week this was in New York!  AjaxWorld East, held at the landmark Hotel Roosevelt there, was such a resounding success: attendance was great, press coverage excellent and meetings numerous and fruitful.

This was the perfect opportunity for DreamFace Interactive to launch the new build of its Open Source DreamFace mashup framework, codenamed “Outsider”.   With a full set of new features and incorporating many feedbacks from the community of developers and enterprise application integrators, Outsider is a milestone in the development of the ultimate Open Source Mashup and DataWidget Framework.

Moreover, at the AJAXWorld 2008 East Conference last week with the gratefully acknowledged help of SYS-CON Media, we officially launched the DreamFace Developer Challenge.  DreamFace is inviting developers to download the new version of their DreamFace Web 2.0 Framework for creating Enterprise 2.0 Mashups, also announced at AJAXWorld, and to build their own DreamFace DataWidgets for submission to the Contest.  Running from March 19, the first day full day of the conference, through to June 19, 2008, it is open to all developers.  The best DreamFace DataWidget development will be judged by an international jury of industry experts and RIA/Ajax gurus and the winners awarded iPhone prizes.  Turn to www.datawidget.net for details and register for the contest!
